In recent days, there is a strong desire in my heart for the revival of a good old-fashion hymn sing! I didn't know then the work God was doing as he delicately weaved His truth into the foundational fabric of my life through century-old words penned from Christ-followers so long ago. If you take a moment to read the words of hymns of old it does not take long to recognize that the same struggles of brokenness and sin burdened those who came before us. Yet, more importantly, the precious words penned are a testimony so powerful and poetically framed of unwavering hope and belief in the redemption and transforming love of Christ.
